Meet our Founder
Jackie Stelling has over twenty-five years of experience specializing in trademark law, including her work for over a decade as in-house counsel for leading global consumer products companies in the over the counter pharmaceutical, food and beauty industries. As an in-house IP lawyer, Jackie acted as lead trademark counsel for iconic brands such as GERBER and COVERGIRL and has managed licensed brands in the beauty industry including ADIDAS, NAUTILUS, DAVID BECKHAM, KATY PERRY and VERA WANG.
With JMS Legal, Jackie has built a practice with a reputation for providing timely, practical legal advice, with a transparent, and largely flat-fee billing structure.
Jackie works with foreign law firms and businesses of all sizes, from solo entrepreneurs to multinational companies and has helped countless clients to register and protect their brand assets, in the U.S. and abroad.
In addition to her work with JMS Legal, Jackie is the co-founder of the non-profit organization, Brand Action with a mission to bring the international trademark community together to support people in times of crisis.
When she’s not doing legal work or volunteering for Brand Action, you’ll likely find her with a camera in hand on the sidelines of her kids’ sporting events, out for a run or satisfying her love of travel.
